Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
